Ephias M. Makaudze is a former Rockefeller Foundation Fellow and currently a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Economics, University of Western Cape, South Africa. He received a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Development Economics from Ohio State University, USA, and specializes in smallholder agriculture, climate risk, and drought insurance.
