Luciana Juvenal is an Economist in the Research Department at the IMF. She joined the IMF in 2012 and before then, she worked for 4 years in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Her research interests are centred around open economy macroeconomics with an emphasis on exchange rates, trade, global imbalances and commodity price fluctuations. Her research work has been published in several academic journals. She studied Economics at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University College London and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick.
