Marisa Coetzee is a lecturer in Economics at Stellenbosch Unviersity. She works as a member of the Research on Socioeconomic Policy group (RESEP), focusing on social mobility, education and child poverty. She spent a year at Nuffield College, Oxford as a visiting PhD student in 2013. She received her PhD in economics at the University of Stellenbosch in 2015
